I had the absolute pleasure of having a chat with Zane Lowe at BIMM, London this week – a very private but live interview about the future of music, including keeping the humanity in music, algorithms and all Beats 1. What an absolute inspiration he was too! This was the first time I’ve ever interviewed anyone, so a 1.5 hour interview in front of 100+ music industry undergraduates was a baptism of fire, but one that was truly an incredible experience. I’ve been a huge fan of Zane and his enthusiasm for new music for many years, so it’s a great honour.
