It’s huge! I’ve signed a US Distribution Deal 🇺🇸

It’s huge!!!! I’ve signed a US distribution deal for The Kut and the entire Criminal Records Roster. It takes our US ops from our London Cartel Studios to a 700,000 square foot warehouse in the US, thanks to Amplified and backed by the world’s most powerful wholesaler, Alliance Entertainment and in partnership with AMPED Distribution. This means our future releases have potential to reach 3000+ physical retailers across the US and 1000+ digital stores and retailers.

The deal means I can finally concentrate on recording my second album as well as promoting our superstar roster across the globe. The new label signings are fierce.

The deal brings us under the wings of a huge label and artist roster that includes Kobalt, Epitaph, Nuclear Blast, Chrysalis, Bella Union, Believe Digital, Death Row Records, Curve Records, Pias, Earache, Ingrooves, Sub Pop (through partnership with ADA), Transgressive, Warner Classics, alongside artists we love including Papa Roach, Arlo Parks, Motley Crew, Dead Kennedys, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Bad Religion, Larkin Poe, Blink 182, Frank Turner, Gojira, Die Antwoord, Black Flag and Rival Sons.

I’m sending out huge thanks to the entire Kut collective, Team Razors, everyone buying, playing, reviewing, featuring, plugging our releases, to everyone booking us, making our shows happen and coming out to the gigs. Massive shout outs to Lori, The Last Siren, Weekend Recovery, Mike Walsh, forthcoming signing Mick Southerland, all with upcoming releases via Criminal Records and our latest signing, rockstar music critic Everett True, who just released his epic book ‘Live Through This (Part 1 – Nirvana)’. All of these artists are absolutely incredible.

The independent music scene is incredibly hard. Doors that should have opened for artists that I know have long still remained closed. It’s not a secret that we are collectively the artists that the major labels didn’t understand.. we are multi instrumentalists, we are business savvy and we work together in ways that traditionally we are not meant to. So it’s even sweeter to have signed a deal with a company who take time to understand their artists and approach the label with the care, attention and forward vision that it needs #TeamRazors4Eva

It’s early days, but we plan to launch a label arm to support more independent artists. So I’m putting out a call to my fellow musicians, promoters, agents, and to anyone who wants to collaborate, to get in touch.

I’m sending big thanks to Cargo Records who have been in support of all we do, emotionally and logistically across the UK and Europe since 2018. We are so happy to continue this solid relationship alongside the new US deal with their blessings.

This is huge news and the celebrations are on! The hard work starts here though and we will need your support now more than ever to handle new challenges and cross new hurdles. There’s more news to follow so make sure you are signed up to our mailing lists here and at https://shop.criminalrecords.cc to keep updated.

USA we are coming for you! xx
